It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Newton Gibbons Curtis Jr. of Scarborough, Maine, born in Portland, Maine, who passed away on December 1, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Rosemary Curtis of Scarborough; his daughters, Melissa Campbell of Scarborough and Jennifer Miller of Portland; his son-in-law Andy Campbell of Scarborough; his granddaughters, Emily Gage, Taylor Angelo, Drew Robinson and Zoie Campbell; his great grandchildren, Cooper Gage, Grahm Angelo and Charlotte Gage; his siblings, Stephen Curtis (Andrea) and Carolyn Taylor; and his sister-in-law Brenda Turner.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Hillcrest Community Center (108 Hillcrest Ave, Scarborough, ME 04074).
