She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur McCrae and Clara McCrae (Hanna); her grandson Barry Smallidge; her parents-in-law, Ernestine and Wayne Bagley; her brothers-in-law, Peter Smallidge and Stephen Smallidge; and her stepsiblings, Norma Kemp and Johnny Bagley.
She is survived by: her husband Ernest 'Bud Smallidge; her children, Arthur Smallidge (Maryann) of Trenton, Elizabeth Goodwin (Neil) of Wells and Cindy Daniels (Patrick) of Buxton; her sister Marion Smith (Sheldon) of New Mexico; and her sisters-in-law, Barbara Wheaton and Gloria Smallidge of Florida. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews.
Due to the pandemic, a gathering to celebrate her life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Barbara's memory to the Mount Desert Public Health Nursing Association or the Courtland Rehab and Living Center activities fund.
