He was predeceased by : his father Warren Lovley. He is survived by : his mother Ada Lovley (MacDonald); his father-in-law Maurice Ryder; his sister Martha Lovley; his children, Megan Lovley and Andrew Lovley (Kelsey); and his grandchildren, Maddilyn and Chase Lovley. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, friends wishing may make donations in David's memory to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, 450 Brookline Avenue, Boston MA 02215.
