She was predeceased by : her parents, Perry G. Short and Altana L. Short Barney (Edwards); her husband Emil; her sister Janice Thibodeau; and her children, Holly Kenney Simpson and Jim Kenney.

She is survived by : her children, Bob Kenney, Kathleen Kenney-Haley (Shon) and David Kenney; her grandchildren, Lauren, Meagan Kenney, Perry Kenney, Natalie Haley, Audra Simpson, Christina Kenney Cardenas (Carlos), Daniel Kenney (Shawna), Michelle Kenney Humphrey (Justin) and Jeanette Matlock; her great grandchildren, Jadynn, Egan, Owen Buchanan, Brianna Downey, Joshua Humphrey, Vincent, Jaxson Cardenas and Olivia Kenney; and her nieces and nephews, Karen Thibodeau Parker (Colman), Maria Thibodeau Hansen, Kristy, John, Tom, Bill Kenney, Tim, Laurie Kenney, Scott and Rick Thibodeau.
