He is survived by: his father Richard Pettengill; his son Codey Pettengill (Alicia Handy); the mother of his child Jessica DeRaps (Danny); his stepbrother Timothy Mason (Tara) of Hancock; his uncle Jasie Piper (Jane); his cousins, Mark Piper (Kara) and Jamey Piper (Melanie); his close friend Burnie Gordon (Selena); and also Richard Pettengill (Kathleen) of Florida. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
