With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Caroline Jackson of South Portland, Maine, born in Moberly, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 27, 2024 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Caroline departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Caroline may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Caroline leaves behind.
She was predeceased by : her husband Charles Jackson; and her brother Pete Craig. She is survived by : her daughter Mary D'Ambrosio; and her siblings, Lyla Hoyland and William Craig.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that contributions be made to Guiding Eyes for the Blind, a cause that was very important to Caroline.
