He was predeceased by: his parents, Grammatiki and Theodore; and his brothers, George and Xenofon. He is survived by: his wife Angela Hatzivalela; his son Theodore; his daughter-in-law Beth; his grandsons, Nicholas and Andrew; and his sister Maria. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and godchildren.
