He was predeceased by: his parents, Italian and Filomena Viola (Rossini); his wife May Viola (Mandarelli); and his siblings, Thomasina Reynolds (Tom), Mary Mayberry, Santino (Jack), Benedetto (Benny), Constantino (Joe), Gaetano (Kita), Pasquale (Pat) and Saverio (Sammy).
He is survived by: his children, Krista M. Viola (Linda Barry Holmberg) of South Portland, Philip A. Viola (Robin) of South Portland and Jason G. Viola (Lauren) of South Portland; his grandchildren, Joseph, Justin, Nicholas Russell, Maria Rivera, Meghan DiFiore, Caleb and Noah Viola; his great grandchildren, Luke, Beckett, Gatlin, Garron, Garner, Raelynn Russell, Giada, Maya Rivera, Bella and Luca DiFiore; and his uncle Philly. He is also survived by children, and grandchildren.
