Sawyer of South Portland, Maine, born in Portland, Maine, who passed away on September 12, 2021, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin H. Sawyer and Danietta D. Sawyer (Miller); his wife Joanne A. Barnes; and his brothers, Lewis B. and William A. Sawyer.
He is survived by: his sons, Shawn S. (Deneise) of Norfolk, VA and Richard S. (Shannon) of South Portland; his grandsons, Shane D. Sawyer of South Portland and Joshua DeLoatch of Norfolk, VA; and his brother Benjamin L. Sawyer (Norma) of South Portland. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
