He was predeceased by: his parent Albert Fongemie; and his brother Al Fongemie. He is survived by: his spouse Lynn Fongemie (Clark); his parent Bertha Fongemie; his son Robert Fongemie of Glastonbury, CT; and his sister Shirley Fretterd of Roswell, GA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to St. Joseph's College of Maine, 278 Whites Bridge Road, Standish, ME 04084 in his memory.
