He was predeceased by: his son Stanley Thomas; and his siblings, James, Frank, Albert, Eugene, Gladys Cass and Beatrice Hutchins.

He is survived by: his wife Helen; his children, Marshall (Cheryl) of Buxton, John (Jane) of Hollis and Marie Estes (Steve) of Standish; his grandchildren, Bryan Hebert (Veronica) of Saco, Ben Hebert of New York, Adam Estes (Kimberley) of Boynton Beach, Eric Estes of Palm Beach and Kelsey Hebert of Brandon; his great grandchildren, Stephen Estes of Standish, Maggie Hebert of Saco, Chloe Estes and Gianna Estes of Standish; his sister Blanche Harriman (Richard Smith); and his niece Annette Stevens (Jon) of Gorham.
