He was predeceased by: his parents, Freeman Stowell and Belna Libby (Burnell); his former wife Patricia Stowell (Baker); and his brother Richard (Beverly Stowell). He is survived by: his friends, Julie and Brenda; his caregiver Beth; his wife Ulla Stowell (Gould); his children, Ralph Stowell, Jr. (Kim), Cheryl Stowell and Brenda Biggs; his grandchildren, Kevin, Jonathan Smith, Kaylah Stowell, Desirae Berricks, Joshua and Jordan Stowell; his sisters-in-law, Barbara Ferrante (Tony), Val Gagne (Frank) and Clara Muller; and his pet Gracie. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
