He is survived by: his parent Patricia Stover Bird (Merrithew); his wife Doris Stover (Calderwood); his stepchildren, Robert Bailey (Valerie) of Skowhegan, Rhonda Russo (Greg) of Portland, Ray Bailey of Standish and Dale Bailey of Florida; and his siblings, Patricia Ames (Dana) of Buxton and Michael Stover (Veronica) of Gorham. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.
