He was predeceased by: his parents, Clinton "Cy" A. and Louise A. Woodard (Andrews); his wife Hilda Woodard (Pooler); and his siblings, Merle "Bud", Dale Woodard, Roger Woodard and Loretta McEwen.
He is survived by: his children, Louine Woodard of Stillwater and Lynn Woodard (Gwen) of Oakland; his grandchildren, Yolana Martin (Shawn) of Brewer and Cameron Woodard of Oakland; his great grandchild Remington Martin; his siblings, Kenton Conroy, Marilyn (Alton Leighton), Lorraine Willey and Paula (John Philbrick); and his sisters-in-law, Viola Woodard and Barbara Woodard. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
