He was predeceased by : his parents, Ira Voter and Georgena Voter (Sample); and his siblings, Jean Baston and Mahlon Voter. He is survived by : his wife Susan Voter (Newton); his children, Linda Voter of Union, CT, Lauri Voter of Las Vegas, NV and James Voter (Tracey) of Union, CT; his grandsons, Wyatt and Lucas Voter; and his siblings, Vernon Voter (Maxine), Wendell Voter (Susan), Pearl Reed (David), Eunice Shurtleff and Kenneth Livingston (Doris). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations may be made to the Union Volunteer Fire Department, 1049 Buckley Highway, Union, CT 06076, or to Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758516, Topeka, KS 66675.
