With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rita T. Knowlan of Strong, Maine, who passed away on December 15, 2021. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Levi Surette and Rose Surette; her husband Wally Knowlan; her sons-in-law, Donald and Michael; and her sisters, Gloria, Margaret and Tina.

She is survived by : her daughter Jean; her granddaughters, Jennifer and Jessica; her great grandchildren, Jean Marie and Johanna; and her siblings, Gerald, Pat, Jane and Della.

Donations in Rita's memory may be made to the Franklin County Animal Shelter, 550 Industry Road, Farmington, ME 04938.
