He was predeceased by: his parents, Abel Desjardins and Lizzie Desjardins (Lausier); his wife Yvette Desjardins (Ouellette); and his siblings, Dorice Desjardins and Theresa Ballard.
He is survived by: his children, Steve J. Desjardins (Linda Poitras) of Van Buren, Amy Parker (Trevor) of Washington State and Janice Kuhles of New York; his grandsons, Adam and Aaron; and his brother Aurele Desjardins of Connecticut. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
