He was predeceased by : his parents, Isidore Dumond and Mattie Dumond (Madore); his former life partner Irene Dumond (Daigle); and his siblings, Joseph, Stacy Dumond, Frances Levasseur and Verna Dumond.

He is survived by : his wife Dora Dumond (Martin) of Van Buren; his daughters, Rolande LeBlanc and Mona Stearns (Richard) of Thomaston; his siblings, Roderick "Dick" Dumond of Bangor, Ronald "Jim" Dumond (Irene) of Van Buren, Mildred Munson of Presque Isle, Robertine Lachance of Waterville and Jackie Demers of New Hampshire; and his grandsons, Todd LeBlanc (Paige) of Colorado, Shane LeBlanc of California, Donald Charlson (Cindy) of Scarborough and David Charlson (Jennifer) of Warren. He is also survived by thirteen great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
