She was predeceased by: her husband Thomas J. Laplante; and her siblings, Maurice, Jacques Roussel, Jeanine Daigle and Rina Ouellette.
She is survived by: her children, Anne Laplante of Portland, Helen Searl (Peter) of Wesleyville, PA, Monique Laplante of Donna, TX, Denise Maynard (Brent) of Louisa, KY and George Laplante (Cathy) of Van Buren; her siblings, Jacqueline Albert of Frenchville, Rachel McAskill, Gilles Roussel, Yvon and Robert Roussel; her grandchildren, Jessica Evans (Donald), Eric Laplante, Emily and Lucas Maynard; and her close friend Pearl Rowland. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
