It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Simone Vaillancourt of Van Buren, Maine, who passed away on December 21, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Wilfred Marquis and Madeleine Marquis (Michaud); her husband Herbert P. Vaillancourt; and her brothers, Francis, Raymond, Gerard, Robert, Daniel and David Marquis.
She is survived by : her children, Ann Vaillancourt of Van Buren, Glen Vaillancourt (Lisa) of St. David, Lisa Vaillancourt of Connecticut, Susan Lajoie (Phil) of Van Buren, Pat Vaillancourt (Lisa) of Van Buren and Lynn Emery (Tim) of Van Buren; her grandchildren, Todd Rossignol of North Carolina, Brad Lajoie (Chelsea) of Cyr Plantation, Liza Lajoie of St. David, Amy Dubay of Saco, Ashley Dubay of Van Buren, Patrick Vaillancourt (Mariah) of Cyr Plantation and Alex Vaillancourt of Van Buren; her great grandchildren, Lincoln, Bryson and Jaxson; and her sister Carline. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
