It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Venette M. Martin of Van Buren, Maine, born in Drummond, New Brunswick, who passed away on August 3, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Arthur Rioux and Therese Rioux (Pelletier); her husband Peter B. Martin; and her siblings, Norman Rioux, Rita Blanchette, Elmaras Rioux, Eduard Rioux, Anne "Blanche" Beaulieu, Adrian Rioux, Isadore Rioux, Yvette Bell, Lorianne Theriault, Bertin Rioux and Antonia McLaughlan.
She is survived by : her children, Anne-Marie Trohanovsky (Tom) of Brook Park, OH, William Martin (Carolyn) of Auburn and Peter Martin of Dallas, TX; her sister Verna Sokolowski of Barrie, Ontario; and her grandchildren, Ben, Dustin and Chelsea. She is also survived by six great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
