She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Melvin and Nellie Melvin; her former husband Clifton H Miller of Waldoboro; her husband Kenneth Mitchell; and her brothers, Zenas Melvin and Leon Melvin.
She is survived by: her children, Linda A. Elwell (James Blake) and Gary W. Miller (Deborah Emery); her grandsons, Matthew J. Elwell (Renee) and Mark A. Elwell (Daphnie Blackler); and her close friends, Marcia Robbins, Carol Sodergren and Terry Murphy. She is also survived by eight great grandchildren, six great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
