He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Napoleon Drapeau and Shirley Drapeau (Swett); his son Philip Jr.; his wife Rose of Weld; his children, Lisa Drapeau of Weld and Phil Drapeau Jr. (Brittany) of Dixfield; his brothers, Larry Drapeau of Roxbury and Ray Drapeau of Otisfield; and his grandchildren, Logan and Olivia Drapeau. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
