She was predeceased by: her brothers, Ralph Henry Whitten Jr. and Carl Ernest Whitten; and her husband Donald Purington. She is survived by: her brothers, David "Pete" Whitten (Cheryl) of Florida and Richard Whitten (Mary Ellen) of Oregon; her children, Stephen Purington (Alice), Karen White (Ed Getty), Lisa Jordan (Wayne) and Susan Marean (Steve); her grandchildren, Jim White, Joe White, Andrea Laskey, Kim Bickford, Wesley Marean and Chase Marean; and her great grandchildren, Emily White, Forrest Laskey and Iris Laskey. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
