He was predeceased by: his parents, Edmund B. Gomes Sr. and Mary Farrell Gomes; his niece Crystal M. Gomes; and his stepmother Elizabeth O'Brien Gomes (Betty). He is survived by: his children, Rachel, David and Neal; his siblings, Edmund B. Gomes Jr. (Joan) and Jeanne G. Fenton (Jim); his niece Gabriella; his nephew Jimmy; his stepsister Clare Currier; and the mother of his children Jaqueline L. L. Gomes.
