He was predeceased by: his parents, William A. Maloy and Florence Maloy (Robinson); his former wife Margaret E. O'Toole; his wife Nancy Sorensen Petersen; his siblings, Mildred (Samuel Hinds), Edna (William Shattuck) and William Maloy (Olga); and his son-in-law Grant Jones.
He is survived by: his children, Dana Petersen (Debbie), Robert W. Maloy, James Maloy (Vicki), Lisa Jones, Kristine Trull (Jack) and Barbara Clark Hazel; his grandchildren, Amy Richards, Jeffrey Jones (Kayla), Jamie Cormier (Jason), Chelsea Loe (Quentin), Malory Petersen, Erik Petersen, Krystal Arenstam (Jacob) and John Trull; his great grandchildren, Emma Raymond, Ava Pablo, Emily, Molly Jones, Grayson and Jackson Loe; and his sister-in-law Sonja Sorensen Rollins (Richard).
