With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janet Tennent of York, Maine, born in West Warwick, Rhode Island, who passed away on March 8, 2021 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wallace Card and Esther Card (Johnson); and her spouse Thomas N. Tennent. She is survived by: her sons, Steven, Scot, Sean and Shane; her grandchildren, Alexander St. Martin, Sean Tennent, Becca Tennent, Madeleine Tennent and Riley Tennent; her brother Wallace Card; and her daughters-in-law, Susan Tennent, Darlene Tennent and Sheryl Tennent. She is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews and very close friends.
In lieu of flower donations, the family asks that in Janet's memory, you plant a flower in your garden, take a stroll searching for shells on your favorite beach or enjoy a special meal and a pina colada with friends and family.
