He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, LaVern Mashier Davenport and Helen Davenport (Whitney); his wife Shirley Chilson of Andover, Mass.; his stepson Richard Chilson of Rockwood; his stepgrandchildren, Richard, Jr., Richard Jr. and Samantha; his nephew Hamilton Gale (Bonnie) of Annapolis; and his niece Susan Stevens (Robert) of The Villages.
