We are sad to announce that on March 31, 2021, at the age of 73, Mary Ann Moore of York, Maine, born in Boston, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, George Habel and Mary Habel. She is survived by : her grandsons, Junior Mints, Jameson, Declan, Timmy and Tyler; her children, Shawn Moore (Jennifer) of York, ME and Kelly Hirbour (Timothy) of York, ME.; her siblings, George Habel (Anne) of Fountain Hills, AZ, Kathleen Habel of Braintree, MA and Tricia Bernabeo (Ted) of Kingston, MA; and her brother-in-law John Naymie of Canton, MA. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Inspired by Mary Ann's lifelong commitment to young readers and in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Village Elementary School. Donations will be used to purchase books for the York Public Library Children's Section.
