He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Winter and Phyllis Winter (Brigham); his wife Della Winter (Alice); his son Roger "Hurk" Winter Jr.; and his close friend Ed Hawks (Hawkeye).
He is survived by: his daughter Ann Steele (Mary Lee); his siblings, Sharon Engelter and Scott Winter; his grandsons, Coty Luke (Jessica), Corey Luke (Kelsey) and Nate Steele (Katey); and his great grandchildren, Lola, Elvie, Anna, Leah, Mercy, Ella and Ava.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the J. Kevin Tidd Funeral Home (811 Finley Dr, Albion, MI 49224). A memorial service was held on Friday, August 15th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
