He was predeceased by : his siblings, Robert Brogley and Ethel Brogley; and his parents, Martin Brogley and Velma Szucs. He is survived by : his wife Anna Brogley; his children, Andrew Brogley (Kathleen), William Brogley (Jennifer), Carl Brogley (Victoria) and Carol Schmitt (Paul); his brother Gerald Brogley (Joan); his sister-in-law Rita Brogley; his grandchildren, Michele Brogley, Paul Schmitt (Sheila), Lauren Stillings (Greg), Jessica Mode (Nathan), William Brogley (Stacy) and Eric Brogley (Destany); and his great grandchildren, Riley, Ethan, Evelyn, Raelynn, Claire, Evan, Rosie, Baby Mode and Baby Stillings. He is also survived by other loving family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Coast Guard Auxiliary or the Alzheimer's Foundation.

Ken Weber wrote a sympathy message

“We are so sorry to hear of Martin's passing. We have fond memories of times spent together with Martin, Anna, Carl, Carol and their brothers. Martin was my godfather, and was everything a godfather should be. He was kind and caring and always fun to be around. We lost contact years ago as life took us in different directions, but we're saddened to hear of his passing and regret having fallen out of touch. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his wonderful family. Ken Weber and mom, Beverly.”
