We bid farewell to Mary Lauretta Suiter of Allen Park, Michigan, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 17, 2025 at the age of 84. Mary Lauretta touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bill Tiernan and Henrietta Tiernan; and her husband John Michael Suiter. She is survived by: her children, Jeffrey Michael (Mary), Michael Christopher (Brenda), Michelle Angileri (David) and Tamara McGuckin (Kevin); her grandchildren, Meghan Murray (Antionne), Ashley Sertle (Michael), Dakota Popp (Andrew), Noah, Hunter, Riley Angileri, Joseph and Jack Suiter; and her siblings, Kay Jinks, Donna Daffron (Steve), Fred Tiernan, Carol Short, Dick Tiernan (Ali), Melvin Tiernan (Phyllis), Leona Rodgers and Dennis Tiernan (Rosemary). She is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Voran Funeral Home - Allen Park Chapel (5900 Allen Rd, Allen Park, MI 48101). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church (19624 Wood St, Melvindale, MI 48122).
In lieu of flowers, donations the family asks that donations be made to Melvindale Safety Town.
