She is survived by: her husband Emil Elvin Gibson, Sr.; and her children, Emil Jr., Darlene "Will" Rodesiler of Coldwater, MI and Elizabeth Edward Hamlin. She is also survived by three granddaughters, one grandson, and eleven great-grandchildren.
