He was predeceased by: his father John W.; his wife Patty Smith; and his brother Arthur Poole. He is survived by: his brothers, Franklin Poole of Maryville, TN, Jack Poole of Maryville, TN and Donald Ray of Maryville, TN; his children, Wanda Sue Hurst (Terry) of Maryville, TN, Leonard Poole (Terri) of Maryville, TN, William Poole, Jr. (Brenda) of Quincy and Sherry Face (Russell) of Allen; and his grandchildren, Colin Hurst (Elaine), Trudy Woods (Robert), Jason E. Poole, Krystal Gregory, Edward L. Huston III (Nicholl), Trista Sleziak (Matthew), William Poole III, Casey Bassage (Tyler), Andrew Face (Alison) and Jacqueline Poole. He is also survived by 14 great grandchildren and many nieces & nephews.
