It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alvin Lumsden (Alpena, Michigan), who passed away on April 8, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Alvin Lumsden to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, William Lumsden and Anna Lumsden (McArthur); his grandson Dale Arthur Kirschner; and his siblings, Blanche Lumsden, William "Elston" Lumsden and Beulah Tucker.

He is survived by : his wife Marilyn McCarty; his daughters, Elizabeth Kirschner (Ruben) and Elsie Wilson (Scott); his grandchildren, Kenneth Kirschner (Jamie), Suzanne Van Der (Clinton), Heather Rossi (Daniel), Joseph Kirschner (Chelsie), David Kirschner (Kassi) and Hillary Lancaster (Aaron Sroka); and his great grandchildren, Chara, Javon, Ian, Eli, Benjamin, Joey, Greyson, Charlotte, Abraham and Isaiah.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in memory of Mr. Lumsden to Hospice of Michigan.
