With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Bob Kirkwood (Alpena, Michigan), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 16, 2025 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his wife Sue Kirkwood; his children, Chris Kirkwood (Andrea), Tara Garrison (Don), Brittney Muth (Andy) and Tyler Kirkwood (Elise); his grandchildren, Taryn, Hudson Muth, Tanner Skiba, Taylor Hunt and Jonathon Snow; and his great grandchild Merrit Hankins. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the McWilliams Funeral Home (504 W Washington Ave, Alpena, MI 49707). A memorial service was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in his memory to the local Hospice of Michigan or any Alpena Youth Sports Organization. Keep Bob's legacy alive by donating to a charity in need.
