He was predeceased by: his father Denny Schaedig; and his brother Dave Schaedig. He is survived by: his mother Carol Schaedig (Elowsky); his children, Shelby Schaedig, Spencer and Matthew Schaedig; his brothers, Glenn and Mark Schaedig; and his niece Nicole. He is also survived by his brothers, cousins, and father.

Memorials may be made to Hunter's Harvest in memory of Wayne.
