Josephine Mary Raska Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Josephine Mary Raska (Armada, Michigan), who passed away on September 6, 2019 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Emery Govaere and Alice Govaere (De Visscher); her husband Donald; her son Donald Raska Jr.; and her sister Dorothy VanHoutte (late Albert).
She is survived by: her children, James Raska (Mary), Joseph Raska, Denise Tabor (Gary), Evelyn Schneider (Richard) and Paul Raska (Tricia); her daughter-in-law Laurie Raska; her siblings, Irene Lucasak (late Walter), Maryann Booth (late Stuart), Robert Govaere (Marilyn) and Raymond Govaere (Dorothy); and her pet Buddy. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be made in Josephine's honor to St. Mary's Mystical Rose Catholic Church or to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
