He is survived by : his parents, Duncan Erving and Faye Erving (MacDonald) of Atlanta; his wife Cindy Erving (Ranft) of Atlanta; his sons, Kurtice Erving of Gaylord, Kodi Erving (Jessica) of Olympia, Washington and Kelcie Erving of Gaylord; his brother Matthew Erving of Alger; his aunt Loretta Kemper of Detroit; and his uncle Mike MacDonald (Heidi) of Atlanta.
