We are sad to announce that on January 20, 2022, at the age of 90, Eugene Joseph Donoghue Jr. of Auburn Hills, Michigan, born in Youngstown, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including : his children, Patti Polmear (Mike), Joe Donoghue III (Kelly), Mike Donoghue (Debbie), Brad Donoghue (Kristin) and Mark Donoghue (Michelle); his grandchildren, Shannon (Chris), Kellyn (Steve), Jarrett, Eric, Sean, Kate, Gillian and Bryan; his great grandchild Sophie; his siblings, Ed (late Normie), Mary Lou (Chuy), Trish (late Ron) and Diane; his stepgrandsons, Keith and Craig Jacoby; his parents, Eugene Sr. Donoghue and Anne Donoghue (Cavanaugh); and his wife Muriel Weatherholt.

Over the last several years, Gene suffered from Parkinson's and Dementia, yet rarely if ever complained.
