She was predeceased by : her parents, John Blankenship and Alma Mae Blankenship; and her siblings, Diana Johnson and David Reynolds (Theresa). She is survived by : her husband James Lucas; her children, Heather Lucas, Craig Lucas (Kerrie) and Michael Lucas (Jessica); her grandchildren, Gasper Lucas, Giasella Lucas, Eleanor Lucas and Oliver Lucas; and her sisters, Lisa Copeland (Donald), Kimberly Elliott and Marcia Reynolds.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the A. J. Desmond & Sons - Crooks (2600 Crooks Rd, Troy, MI 48084). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
