It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alfred Sauer (Auburn, Michigan), who passed away on January 26, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Alfred Sauer to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Albert Sauer and Emelia Sauer (Landosky). He is survived by : his wife Clara E. Prahl; his children, Sharon Guoan, Marianne McAlpine (Jack) and Clifford Sauer (Tammy); his grandchildren, Chris Guoan (Renee), Tina Guoan, Jeffrey Kerr, Danilla, Kalvin Kerr (Jennifer), Tony McAlpine (Jenece), Trever McAlpine (Heather), April McAlpine, Keith, Heidi Bosley (Keith), Ashley Shelagowski (Roger) and Brandon Sauer (Shelby); his great grandchildren, Kayla Broughton (Trevor), Joshua, Kaitlyn, Garrett, Katrina, Breanna, Sabrina, Katherine, Skyler, Dysin, Brenton, Maverick, Sadie, Carson, Felicity, Olivia, Alexis, Nathaniel, Amelia, Dalton and Emma; his great great grandchild Troy James Broughton; his siblings, Agnes, Edmond, Norman, Hertha, Irma, Martha, Ernestine, Frieda, Elenora, Irene and Lydia Alma; his son Larry Sauer; and his son-in-law Thomas Guoan.

Due to the ongoing pandemic the church is limited to 100 people in attendance for the service, also social distancing should be observed and a face covering should be worn.
