It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Klida of Auburn, Michigan, born in Bay City, Michigan, who passed away on January 10, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Edward Klajda and Josephine Klajda; his former life partner Shirley Klida (DeShano); and his sister Lorraine Stankowitz. He is survived by : his sons, Steven (Kim), Jeffrey and David (Tamara); his wife Donna (McDermott); his stepchildren, Brooke and Lance; his grandchildren, Julia Wegener, Cecelia, Simon and Ely Klida; his great grandchildren, Willow and James Wegener; and also Mike Tasior.
In keeping with the COVID-19 Mandates from the State of Michigan, we are limited to 25 people in the building at a time, face masks are required and social distancing will be observed.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Shirley Klida Memorial Scholarship fund through the Bay Area Foundation.
