She was predeceased by : her parents, Lawrence Chartier and Elsie Chartier (Riegler); and her husband Raymond J. Markel. She is survived by : her children, Linda Krengielski (Joe), Sandra Taylor, David Markel (Pam) and Barbara Markel (Teresa Peiffer); her grandchildren, Matthew Markel (Candice), Laura Siddall (Jake), Wayne (Kelly) and James Taylor (Jessie); her great grandchildren, Sydney, Morgan, Emerson Markel, Garrett, Emily, Keegan, Jesse and Jasmine Taylor; her sisters, Harriet Leonard and Carol Lewis; her son-in-law Jerry; her siblings, James, Howard, Tom, Maxine, Edna, Laura and Carmen; and her brothers-in-law, Bob and Gary.
