He was predeceased by : his father George Ordus Sr.. He is survived by : his wife Dawn Ordus of Bad Axe; his children, Meghan Bowers (David) of Caseville and Lauren Arntz (Kyle) of Bad Axe; his mother Dorothy Ordus (Helmick) of Bad Axe; his stepson Ryan Buza; his grandchildren, Isaiah Arntz, Kaylee Buza and Alexis Neimann; his brothers, George Ordus Jr. (Kim) and Joseph "Joey" Ordus (Jennifer) of Bad Axe; and his nieces and nephews, Jonah, Brooklynn, Bethany and Emily Ordus.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be offered to St. Jude's Children Research Hospital.
