He was predeceased by: his parents, Matthew Holz and Delcina Holz (Bouverette); his siblings, Duard Holz, Matthew Holz (Marion), Gerald Holz, Helen Rooney (Gilbert) and Doris Talaski; and his brothers-in-law, Wilford Bowron, Deward Trepkowski, James Trepkowski (Patricia), Ernest Cornett and Wilbert Brown.
He is survived by: his wife Doris Holz; his children, Debora Messing (Doug), Karen Pankau (Kurt) and Paul Holz (Alexandra Fleming); his grandchildren, Bradley Messing (Corissa), Laura Messing, Lindsey Messing (Brian VanMeter), Kayla Holz, Tara Holz and Kenneth Pankau; his great grandchildren, Kaelyn, Bentley Messing and Jaxtin VanMeter; his siblings, Carol Bowron, Susan Czewski (Leonard), Kathy Karg (Fred), Robert "Moe" Holz (Nancy) and John Holz (Kathy); and his siblings-in-law, Carl Talaski, Janice Holz, Loreane Holz, Peggy Sakowski (Fred), Betty Cornett, Mary Ann Brown and Nancy Smith (Jerry). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
