She was predeceased by : her parents, Don Wendel and Beatrice Wendel; and her stepson John Phairas, Jr.. She is survived by : her husband John Phairas; her sons, Steve (Janet Mesecar), Michael (Toni Mesecar), Richard (Amy Mesecar), Phillip (Emily Mesecar) and Tim (Petra Mesecar); her stepchildren, Shelly Phairas of California, Jeff Norwood of Arizona and Robin Miller of Florida; and her siblings, Betty Cooper and John Wendel. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 8 nieces and 1 nephew.
