Wayne Connors Obituary
We are sad to announce that on April 27, 2021, at the age of 89, Wayne Connors of Baldwin, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Desmond Connors and Dorothy Connors (Larsh); his granddaughter Shannon Liquia; and his siblings-in-law, Sharon Connors, Ed Marjonen, Bob Boogren, Martin Kotel and Johnny Roberto.
He is survived by: his wife Joann Connors; his children, Dennis of Pensacola, FL, Troy (Caitlin) of Marquette, Renee Liquia of South Lyon, MI, Connie Champion (Randy) of Negaunee, Paula Connors of Charlevoix and Wendy Champion (Rick) of Whitehall, MI; his grandchildren, Stacy McEachern (Mark), Mandi Welbes (William), Jessica Lapine (Eric), Joanna Zillner (Jordan), Michael Liquia (Shelley), Adam Liquia (Jessica), Wayne Champion, Tiffany Connors, James Champion, Taylor Connors, Roger Champion and Travis Connors; his siblings, Jerry, Gary Connors (Mary), Carol Marjonen, Janice Boogren, Marilynn Kotel, Darlene Meden (Norm) and Jill Leferink (Dick); his close friend Jeanie Manginen; and his godchildren, John Cass, Jr., Todd Cass, Lynn Marjonen and Terry Marjonen. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed in Wayne's memory to the Fortune Lake Scholarship Fund.
