He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Lover and Nellie Lover (Blount); and his siblings, Richard, Albert, Arthur, Eugene Jr., Margarette, Franklin, Barbara and Charles.
He is survived by: his sister Betty Lover of Bannister; and his sibling's children, Tina, Danny Cook of Gerald and Glenna Hammond.
