He was predeceased by: his wife Helen Hale; and his brothers, Jerry Barve and Vernon Barve. He is survived by: his parents, David Barve and Agnes Barve; his son Charles R. Walman of Battle Creek; and his siblings, Nina Gore of Battle Creek, Harry Barve of Tennessee, David Barve of Kalamazoo, Steven Walman and Bridget Walman of Climax.
